Agnes was amazed Thursday night when I purchased two gigantic bags of rice at the market. "What are those for?" she asked, wide-eyed. I told her about the activity for the little ones, and she said, "That sounds so fun." Then she thought a moment and eyed the bags gravely, adding, "I just hope you aren't going to regret this."

Let's hope our vacuum cleaner is still in working order after this!

Ooh, I really like the fish & pond idea! We recently made a very nice fish out of construction paper and he has been sitting, forlornly, on top of my counter for want of something to do with him (and company too, no doubt). I know what we're working on tomorrow!

I remember those fish ponds!!! You brought them over already prepared for Agnes and Theresa once!

Wow, wouldn't my fish obsessed four year old love that now?

BTW, I remember Jane having her own sand and water table in your sunroom. That provided hours of indoor entertainment.

Our rice box is the BIGGEST in this house especially with my boys almost 4 & 7 and all their little diggers, makes for quite an excavation project!! Popcorn on cookie sheets works well too if they have high enough sides! Thanks for the link and the "fishy" ideas too!
