<description>I think I read in one of your posts that the unabridged were the ones with illustrations on the cover, no photographs? Like in your sidebar? If that is the case, they have quite a few at the Laura Ingalls Wilder home in Mansfield, Missouri. I was just there on Sunday and saw them. I think you can order from their website here. http://www.lauraingallswilderhome.com/categories.php

<description>I just managed to get all of your books except "The Road from Roxbury" unabridged from various places. That one I could only find for $40+ and that wasn't quite in our budget.

My 12 year old is loving them all:-) and I'm planning to read them with my 8 year old this fall.

I wish there would be more, but I sure understand what a hard decision it must have been for you.

<description>Melissa - thanks for this - I am slowly but surely collecting them all! (Looks like I better speed up the process too...)

Thanks also for ALL your marvelous blog work - I can't tell you how inspiring and helpful you are to our homeschool on the other side of the country! Perhaps Tidal Homeschooling could be your next book title (hint, hint) :) - surely you have time to write another book (LOL! I'm JOKING!!!!....)...

Seriously - thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and experience (said Penny, bowing westward in your honor)...

<description>They still have some of them at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home and Museum in Missouri as well. Here's a link (though I don't know how to insert them in comments so that the whole of it shows up ...).

<description>Thanks for posting this. It's become apparent they are hard to find and people don't like to give them up! So I took the plunge today and bought some copies (I'm hoping I'll have a girl now to read these!) I so wanted the copies in the unabridged version. I was able to get all the books, most from the second place. Now how to explain this to dh? Hmmmm....
