Atticus and I regularly embarrass our children in such ways ... as I type, Anne-with-an-e has just finished pleading with Atticus to stop singing a Talking Heads song that only he can hear (we finally have mp3s around here ....)

OK I admit it I like that song too --ever since Ocean's 11 which I also love! :-)

I sing too --all the time. Most of the time though my kids are OK with it. Dh on the other hand sings and drives me crazy making up new and ridiculous lyrics to songs I like. He does it to annoy me but it's funny. ;-)

Ha! I LOVE it!

I would have so enjoyed being in line behind you as you placed that call. As it is, your retelling of this adventure--and of your penchant for bursting into song--is perfect.

I sing, too, by the way. (And my children tell me to stop, too.)
