Wow, a lot of Sara(h)'s commenting today :) I often have book paralyis and it seems to sit in worse after a really good book. Like you, I end up starting several books at once (often a few fiction and a few non-fiction) and seeing if one takes off.

When I have option paralysis, I usually have an upstairs (bedtime) book and a downstairs book. The downstairs one is usually the better one that I take wherever I go.

I should get my kids more involved in Farm Town; I just get ridiculed around here. No one gets it....and I'm not entirely sure I do either!

Sorry, I probably should have included authors for Waffle and Maude March- Polly Horvath for Waffle, who has created in me a fierce desire to visit Comox BC, and Audrey Couloumbis for Maude March.

I just (re)read Father's Arcane Daughter in June- another good one by Konigsburg to dust off. I love her books. Have you read Everything on a Waffle? We really like it too. And our all-time favorite read-aloud/car trip book is the Misadventures of Maude March. My kids don't think we're capable of going on vacation without that book-on-cd. And there's a private rant- why are all the libraries still buying books on tape, when the automakers aren't putting tape players in cars any more?

Farm Town is turning out to be the best advocate for unschooling I've ever encountered. Not only is my Rose doing maths within the context of the game, but it has switched her brain on more to maths in general life too.

When our fields get a decent size, we will definitely have to hire people to harvest them. More money is always good.

Well, you have my recommendation for The Zookeeper's Wife, but I didn't know you were also reading A Room With A View. Gorgeous book.
