		<description>Thanks for sharing, Melissa.  We had our own good news this Thanksgiving.  My 5yo&#039;s JRA is in remission, as is the uveitis.  She&#039;s still taking MTX, though.</description>

		<description>Thank you for sharing Jane&#039;s story, it makes me cry every time I read it.  Even more so now, my little Regina--just 8 months old, spent her first 5 weeks in the NICU.  Every day that I wake up realizing she&#039;s here, in my home, and I don&#039;t have to share her with a dozen nurses and doctors feels like a miracle.  Just looking at her now, you&#039;d never know she was so sick as a newborn.</description>

Thanks for posting this again.  I remember reading it before.  My 11 year old son Tim had leukemia.  It is amazing how you always remember milestones.  Tim is 7 years in remission after 3.5 years of chemo.  He is doing extremely well.  When he speaks as  &quot;Children&#039;s Hospital Champion&quot; he reminisces about how much fun he had with leukemia.  Isn&#039;t that strange?</description>
