   I’ve sworn off online discussions of DA. Like LOST, this is a show that seems to invite wildly divergent opinions, not to mention how a show with so much excitement built up for the second season is bound to disappoint some. But it does seem harder to experience the show for what it is if you have strong opinions crowding out your own experience and perceptions. That’s just me, though. I am, unfortunately, terribly susceptible to the opinions of others who seem more confident in their criticism.

   (Don’t take that personally, though. You know I love you and respect your writing and opinions!)

   And, Maggie Smith continues to endear.
