Pondering my next wish

Every time a friend like Sarah Elwell or Liz Burns mentions the books of Melina Marchetta, I think I have got to get on the ball and read those. Just last week I was wishing the first book in the series, Finnikin of the Rock, would be a Kindle deal. And today it is.

UPDATED: Wow!! Redwall (the first book in the series) is FREE on Kindle today!

Woot! Off I went and purchased it. Then I came back to say thank you.

Finnikin is great, and I loved the sequels immensely. But I do say her contemporary books, especially On The Jellicoe Road, are better. I wish you lived down the road so I could loan you my copy! 🙂
