This is my dilemma: I already own it in paper form, so would it be redundant to buy it in kindle format as well? Or would it just be fantastic, because who knows when I’d NEED to read a chapter of Betsy-Tacy when I’m away from my home library but have my tablet
Haley: I have this fantasy where Amazon decides to give me a digital copy of every book I’ve ever bought from them. They’re shifting that way for music now, so who knows?
(As an author, I recognize this is a deplorable dream. We’re all poor enough as it is. The royalty on a $1.99 Kindle book is pennies, literally. My Reader self (perpetually broke) is constantly at odds with my Writer self (perpetually underpaid).
