Heads up — Emily Starr deal on Kindle

December 6, 2017 @ 8:10 am | Filed under:

L.M. Montgomery’s three Emily books are on sale, 99 cents for the trilogy. I will never, never forget the day I wandered into the children’s section at a different branch of the Aurora Public Library than the one my family usually visited, and I discovered there were more books by the author of my beloved Anne. I was astonished that the world had not yet revealed to me this crucial piece of information. What do they teach them in these schools, indeed.

P.S. The Blue Castle is also a dollar at the moment. You know how I feel about that particular gem.

Can we have a chat in your comments about Emily Starr? I am grading like a fiend (a sluggish ground-down wilting sort of fiend, you understand) and I would love a good comments chat to peek at on grading breaks.

I want to be charmed by the Emily books but they actually make me a little grumpy. People who are charmed by the Emily books, please tell me why!

Thank you for the heads up! I purchased both. I’ve never actually read any of L.M. Montgomery’s books, though I’ve always meant to.

I also plan to read the books you mentioned in yesterday’s post. 🙂
