Make a Colonial Pump Drill, But Not for Me

In honor of the the 400th anniversary of the establishment of the Jamestown settlement (which, coincidentally, is also my 13th wedding anniversary), author Kris Bordessa is offering a sneak peek inside her book, Great Colonial Projects You Can Build Yourself.
Unfortunately for stumped anniversary-present shoppers, a colonial pump drill is not on my wish list this year.

I totally forgot we were married on the same day! Happy early anniversary, Lissa! 🙂 🙂
Although I’m not sure why you wouldn’t want a colonial pump drill. All the best homeschoolers are wanting one this year. 😉

I’ll be celebrating my 18th anniversary this weekend – and alas, a pump drill is not on my wish list either. Although, it’s one of those activities that keep kids busy for quite awhile. Maybe I’ll pull one out and take advantage of the distraction to have a quiet conversation with my hubby.
Thanks for the link!

Happy Anniversary! Our 12th is coming up next weekend. I remember that I met you about a week before my wedding, way back in 1995. Jane was on the way!
