Feathered Friend Identified

Many thanks to Dan and Dixie for clueing me in to the identity of our backyard visitor: seem it was a Western Kingbird. I hope it visits again! It’s an insect and fruit eater, so it wasn’t snacking at our feeder, just perching on the hook. I’m glad I got at least one (albeit blurry) photo before it flew away!

Melissa, maybe I just didn’t notice it but in my humble opinion,www.ponderedinmyheart.blogspot.com
would be a great addition to your sidebar. One of my favorite blogs to read! Marcella

Marcella, Kimberlee and her blog are indeed great favorites of mine! I linked to one of her posts here just the other day, in fact. 🙂
I have actually removed most of my blogrolls because they had become enormously long and unwieldy. I’ve shifted toward linking to specific posts either via del.icio.us (my daily link postings) or Google Reader Shared Items (righthand sidebar).
I am about to launch my new website and this blog will undergo a makeover at the same time. I’m moving most of my sidebar content to a separate links page and recommended resource page. Big big changes afoot!
But I’m so glad you mentioned Kimberlee’s blog–she is great!
