LOL I saw the recipe for those potatoes yesterday and was totally bummed when I got back from the store today and forgot to buy POTATOES!!! I did forward the recipe to a friend… I hope she makes them soon… and invites me over for dinner!

In 2006, a year after I began this blog, I coined the term Tidal Homeschooling to describe my family’s homeschooling style, an ebb and flow of
high tide (planned, Charlotte Mason-ish) and low tide (unschoolish, delight directed) learning. You’ll sometimes see me call it Tidal Learning. Seventeen years later (and counting), the metaphor still works. At the time of this writing (January 2023), I’m enjoying tidal homeschooling with Huck and Rilla, my two youngest, now in their teens.
