How do you get all these kids that just fall asleep on the sofa, with or without snuggling with someone? I have never had one of my children, other than a nursing newborn or a really sick child EVER fall asleep on the sofa. So, so dear.
Sarah, that is what I have said over and over in comments. Such “drop and fall asleep babies” never lived at my house, cutening corners and couches with their sleeping little selves. I have enjoyed Lissa’s collection of Sleeping Kids photos over the years. Mine only slept in car seats and beds, and once or twice under an umbrella on a sandy beach.
Oh, and of course, mine slept in slings and with mama and her book in the rocking chair. That is just default – more default even than beds and car seats – so didn’t think to mention…

I can’t decide which is sweeter…him sleeping or her letting him sleep on her lap 🙂

Okay yes, keel-over baby is very cute but what I can’t get over is: that’s Rilla?? However did she get so … so not-baby looking?? Gracious.
