Day at the Beach
May 22, 2014 @ 6:41 pm | Filed under: Family Adventures, Photos
A dear old friend, two lively girls, a lovely gray day, beach frisbee, sand sculptures, geocaching, Dippin Dots: pretty much a perfect day.
There’s a mysterious world under the pier.

What a lovely, overcast day on the beach.
Some sugar-free KoolAid mix adds great color to sculpture, btw… and it’s harmless to the sand bugs and sculptors (although some dyed hands might result). When they’ve put in so much work to make something, it’s nice to color it in. ☺
Man. I *need* to go to the beach now.

That’s basically where we go to the beach, too. My parents’ home is on Law Street, so we often walk down the beach to Crystal Pier and back. 🙂 Love gray days at the beach more than sunny ones!! 🙂
And now it’s back to teaching Romeo & Juliet at Brave Writer…. 🙂
