It is Tuesday, right? I keep getting calls to shift appointments around (IEP, audiology, the usual) and it has me discombobulated.

My new hobby is doing dramatic readings of posts from the Nextdoor app. I’m recording them and texting them to my friend Lisa. I feel like I might have found my true calling at last. 😉

P.S. thanks for the book suggestions on yesterday’s post. Keep ’em coming! I’m chairing Cybils YA Fiction this year ***but not reading on the panel*** and it hit me that that’s why I feel book-drifty. I’m using to being buried under stacks of novels this time of year.

Based now your existing list you should definitely add “pantsuit politics” podcast. I find I like their nuanced approach more than the crooked media podcasts though I love them too. Also, I’m sure you’re in it but “what should I read next” is a great podcast. You should be a guest!

oh we are pod cast sisters. Jon Lovett makes me laugh so hard. All the Pod Save stuff was my soundtrack while gardening this summer. And WWW is my cleaning soundtrack every week.

A friend just handed me The Glass Castle on Thursday. But I have so many other books to read first. Some of them library books.
I love your beautiful west coast fungi. We’ve been having a small fungi binge here after we took a little nature class on decomposition. Though this week it’s been a bit cold and wet for walks in the woods. Now begins the dreary November.
