I did a podcast!

August 13, 2012 @ 1:56 pm | Filed under: Author stuff

Back in June at ALA, the wonderful Allison Tran and her guest-host Lalitha Nataraj interviewed me about my new books, my old books, and basically all things book for the Authors Are ROCKSTARS! podcast. It’s live today—fun! They asked great questions and even let me gush about Betsy-Tacy a bit. Thanks, Alli and Lali! I had a ball chatting with you.

P.S. New Thicklebit today!

  1. OK a few items about the podcast:
    1) you are SO SKINNY in that picture! Frame it and put it on your fridge to look at everyday, especially on hard days.
    2) And your voice isn’t at all like what I thought it would be. You sound so young, like a teenager. But I recognized the enthusiasm and joy I hear in your blog voice.

So fun to hear you gush over your books. 🙂

  2. So enjoyed listening to the podcast! 😀

  3. The podcast– what joy! No, you don’t sound at all like the voice I give you in my head. I’m always a bit surprised by that when I meet people who I first met online. But as soon as I meet someone the real voice becomes what I hear and that is so much nicer.
