I have guilt over that grass. We are renting this house. The owners put down sod in the backyard right before we moved in, for US. And so we water it faithfully. In theory I am somewhat anti-lawn and very much pro-native-landscaping, which in SoCal sure ain’t lush Kentucky bluegrass. 😉 But in practice, for now, I’m a good tenant.
(And my kids do play on it for hours every day. So there’s that.) 🙂
