My cat and werewolf. Are not Beanie’s wolf ears splendiferous?

**How** did she get her hair to do that!? Amazing.

Oh my gosh, how old is she now? I keep envisioning her as 6 (like the photo on the left with Rilla on her back), and she looks like she’s about 12 in that photo!

No, you are mistaken, that’s not Beanie. I recognise Rose, but Beanie is not so grown up, not already.
Oh, this children getting older business is so hard, even when you don’t actually know them in person.

Oh, I LOVE those ears.
…since my hair tends to look like that on a normal day…
They do look like lovely – mature! – young ladies…

That can’t be Beanie…..and Rose looks like Jane 🙂 To me. But I haven’t seen them in many years now…….

Very impressive. And I agree about how grown up the two of them look.

I meant to use hair gel to help the ears stand up, but what I thought was a tube of gel was just frizz-smoother, no sticky to it. I wound up using shampoo to clump the ear sections together a bit. I pulled them up into points and braided the ends (see the tops of the braids at the tips of the ears?) and folded the braids behind. Worked surprisingly well! But then her hair does have a lot of texture to work with… 😉
Beanie will be 11 in January. (Gasp!) And Rose was 13 this summer, can you believe it??

11 and 13 seem terribly old, too old to be allowed, really. I mean, I know Jane is 16 but the rest ought properly still be babies, no?? My eldest is 22 and I still don’t entirely understand the passage of time, surely he was four only last week …
