You big teaser! My eyes popped, thinking I was going to hear about the newest blessing! My daughter and I just read about Baby Allan Tervish from the 1st Martha book, and she wondered if Brownie Pete’s ever-so-great grandson would be coming down to your baby’s Christening. It was so precious.

In 2006, a year after I began this blog, I coined the term Tidal Homeschooling to describe my family’s homeschooling style, an ebb and flow of
high tide (planned, Charlotte Mason-ish) and low tide (unschoolish, delight directed) learning. You’ll sometimes see me call it Tidal Learning. Seventeen years later (and counting), the metaphor still works. At the time of this writing (January 2023), I’m enjoying tidal homeschooling with Huck and Rilla, my two youngest, now in their teens.
