Science Experiment of the Day – The Daily What.

I know I posted this at Facebook yesterday, but I’m testing the Press This plugin (dunno why I’ve never bothered with it before) and this seemed like a good test subject. Have you seen it? Video of a clump of fire ants in water? Fascinating!

Oooh that gives me the shivers. I haven’t lived in fire ant country for a decade but they still creep me out. I’ve suffered from too many bites in my day.

Amazing video! Just watched it with my 5-year-old. I explained what it was, “They are trying to push fire ants into water! Look, they won’t go in, they keep floating!”

    His response, “Just like Jesus.”
