I made the chicken tikka masala recipe for dinner tonight. Added some homemade garlic naan and mango chutney. Delish!

I’ve never made it before because a lot of times India recipes seem a little too complicated. The video made it seem easy. And it was.

In 2006, a year after I began this blog, I coined the term Tidal Homeschooling to describe my family’s homeschooling style, an ebb and flow of
high tide (planned, Charlotte Mason-ish) and low tide (unschoolish, delight directed) learning. You’ll sometimes see me call it Tidal Learning. Seventeen years later (and counting), the metaphor still works. At the time of this writing (January 2023), I’m enjoying tidal homeschooling with Huck and Rilla, my two youngest, now in their teens.
