Wonderful pictures! Are those out of your garden already! I have kale that wintered over well with our mild winter but I have yet to plan all the seeds I have stored up. It’s time for lettuce and spinach to get in the ground!

(so confused **uncertain** why is there a distorted image of ‘booklog 2010’ in the post?)

But! The other photos! Lovely! You are making me long for radishes! And I love the one of the water in the gutter — I don’t know how many hours my lot have logged in such spots 🙂

Ellie, how strange! I don’t see it. I was reorganizing my sidebars a little while ago—I wonder if you happened to load the page in the middle of that and something loaded wonkily?

Kris, yes, we planted the radishes in early March (I think, would have to check my notes!) and harvested them all this week. Our lettuce is coming up nicely but a bunny or something keeps nibbling it to the ground!

@Ellie again—hmm, I’ve just noticed your comment came in just a few minutes ago, well after the time I was rearranging things. Is that image still appearing in the post? Baffling… 🙂

  6. Ellie says:

It’s still there — the top photo (first of four) in the post. I even quit safari. Heh. Aliens.
    🙂

  7. Melissa Wiley says:

Bizarre! I’ve tried two browsers and am not seeing it. Anyone else?

Ellie, if you continue seeing oddities in any of my posts please do let me know! 🙂

  8. Ellie says:

(i just emailed you a screencap. Because I am odd.)

And then I force quit safari **again** and now it is gone! Which is sort of sad, in a way. 🙂

(I see no weird photo images.)

Your wee man with his Bookworm shirt and sunglasses and radishes is just adorable.

Gosh I love these photos. Your sweet ones seem so big. It makes me feel as if I was gone for a year and not just a month.

  11. sarah says:

I think that the grasshopper is really cool.

  12. sarah says:

lol, I was racking my brain trying to remember when I’d written that grasshopper comment … until I realised it was a different sarah! 🙂 And yeah, now I see – there I am at the top of the comment list. I think I need to go to bed early.

sarah, meet sarah, my beloved friend from our Virginia neighborhood. 🙂 Although I have a feeling that sweet comment was left by sarah’s nature-loving daughter, who has been delighting me recently by chiming in about some of my photos. 🙂
