…for now just a quick note to say there’s a new Thicklebit up!

I just spent two hours cleaning the playroom. Chased out so many spiders I feel like Aunt Sponge. Or was it Aunt Spiker? Either way. All the new crayons and glue sticks we bought at the super-bargain back-to-school sales now have their Very Own Drawer. That is the exciting news of my day. I’m not even kidding. Genuinely excited to open that drawer and see the array of Crayola boxes. I’m a cheap date. 🙂

   LOL very loudly! I think we are kindred spirits. That would so make me giddy glad! 😀

   And must be the day to banish spiders because there were more than a few today that I sent packing (via the Dyson Animal I was brandishing) during the clean sweep of our den/where-everyone-wants-to-hang-out-it-seems room.

   I love the idea of colored filled drawers and look forward to the day when we don’t have to keep such items on the top shelves to keep them out of toddler hands and when I’m not constantly badgering the creative artsy types in my life to remember to put caps back on and to put things back when they are done. Right now crayons are giving me fits as every day I seem to find a new surface that has been scribbled upon. Including the new kitchen cabinet from Ikea, which was christened with blue crayon before Dom had even finished screwing the hardware into all the drawers.
