Periscope: The biggest decision of my week

i dearly hope that periscope isnt the death knell for your blog. I love reading your daily happenings. The video is fun too, but not the same. Kind of like reading the book and then seeing the movie.

Funny—I was just doing some hard thinking about my blogging habits while answering questions for an interview on Lesley Austin’s site. I treasure this space and the archive it provides. I do feel like I lost my blogging mojo a bit over the past year—a combination of: a heavy workload, a heavy doctor-appointment schedule, and my commitment to daily sketching practice (which often eats up my blogging time). But I miss the old days, all that lively discourse we had! I was saying in my answers to Lesley that I need to carve out a dedicated time of day for blogging, like I used to have.

That’s a thing that’s hard for me too, Lissa: the dedicated bloogin hour … My traditiona best writing time coincides with the absolute must do it exercising time (in the morning after breakfast), which then leads directly into Lessons with the kids … So now blogging happens haphazardly, which is hard for me. I do miss the regular sharing, both at my blog and at my favorite haunts as well, like here 🙂

My eyelids are heavy because of the time change, so I will watch the rest tomorrow and then share with our local group. More social savvy ladies may have already watched.
