Tuesday notes

Books today:

* Rilla and I are still reading The Bat Poet

* But it was also a Big Green Pocketbook day

* And I quite suddenly picked up Byatt’s The Children’s Book night before last, something I wasn’t sure I’d ever reread, but it seems I am, and it’s even richer and sadder this time around.

We do a ton of reading over the summer. DD has been reading her way through Enola Holmes mysteries, the Saturdays books and is also listening a dramatization of all the books in the Chronicles of Narnia. I’m reading whatever I can get my hands on. Happy summer!

Every time I see you mention The Bat Poet, I have to smile.
