  1. Wow, has it really been eight years? I don’t know why I’m always so surprised at all these children getting older – it is after all what they do. But it reminds me how long some of us have been blogging! Happiest of happy birthdays to your dear little artist. And thank you for sharing the joy of her with all of us. <3

  2. The Little Fur Family was Calli’s MostFavorite book! Oh the memories …

    Happy Happy Rilla birthday. She was born, like, last week. I know we have this conversation every year! Joshua just turned 12, which is all shades of ridiculous ….

    {{hugs}}

  3. OK, now I’m giggling—I clicked on one of the ‘related posts’ that showed up underneath this one, and look at our comments! http://melissawiley.com/blog/2008/03/09/1498/

  4. WOW. What a big girl!
    May she continue to bring you much joy, Liss.

  5. Lissa, you know what’s truly bizarre? I **remember** Jennifer’s comment about “who is this CHILD?”

  6. Warm as toast, smaller than most and they lived in a something wooden tree…is that right? It’s been so-o-o long since I’ve seen that story.

    A happy belated birthday to your lovely, flowery girl!

  7. Leslie, yes, that’s the one! A most beloved book.

    Ellie, wow!!
