  1. Not just chewing gum, but when I’m reading aloud for our history or literature studies, the children are ever so much more engaged if their hands are busy with drawing, watercoloring, modeling clay ….

  2. I BELIEVE.
    This is why there is a Costco sized box of Orbit in the closet; sometimes, when writing is harder and I find my attention zinging all over? Chewing gum sort of sticks me to the chair. Weird!!!! I love it when what I do is justified by Science!
