SDCC Pix: Steampunk Wheelchair

July 27, 2010 @ 6:10 am | Filed under: books,Events,SDCC 2010,Steampunk

Coolest thing I saw at the con. These pictures don’t come close to doing it justice. I chatted briefly with the owner—she did all the work herself. Wish I’d gotten her name. Amazing craftsmanship.

That is insane! And amazing! Wow. I am definitely very impressed.

  3. Tabatha says:

I love all your pictures from Comic-Con, but this is especially awesome! I think one of the best things about Comic-Con must be feeling that human beings have a treasure trove of inventiveness inside them, which you can see from both the fans and the artists who are present.
P.S. It’s awesome that you have gotten two manuscripts written this year! My hat is off to you.

  4. Craig says:

I’m in the process of making my own Steampunk chair off a TDX Storm foundation… I think this is the start of a whole new “trend” for those of us in chairs.

  5. JeffB says:

The owner of the wheelchair is a good friend of mine – Noel Meyer. The steampunk wheelchair has been a project for her and her family and friends for quite a long time. And you weren’t the only one to take notice – Felicia Day added it to her TwitPic feed.
